We’re all delighted that fishing can continue during the lockdown and I am proud of the role the Angling Trust played to ensure that the sport we love can be practised safely and legally over the next four weeks. Just as we did during the first lockdown, my team and I worked tirelessly in getting our voices heard by Government. Not every sport was as successful, but it would not have been possible without you – our members. Your support really does make a difference and I would like to thank you for your continued loyalty. The more members we have, the stronger our voice becomes and the better for angling. Please help us become even stronger in our fight to protect fish and fishing from whatever the world may throw at us. There are 3 simple ways you can support us:

1. Refer a friend, colleague or family member to join the Angling Trust – and, by way of thanks, both of you will be entitled to a free gift.

2. Make a donation. As a non-profit organisation, every penny we receive benefits angling – from getting more people on the bank to campaigning to protect fish stocks and the environment.

3. Encourage your club or fishery to join us. There are huge benefits available for member clubs and fisheries – from discounted insurance cover to the protection of Fish Legal. If your club or fishery is not already a member, please suggest they join.
